Love-a-Parish Program (LAPP) is one extraordinary social service program that sets Sto. Niño de Paz Community – Greenbelt Chapel different and above other parishes/chapels in the country. In all masses every first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and third Wednesday of the month, Love-a-Parish envelopes are distributed to the Greenbelt Chapel faithful to raise funds for the regular financial support of 417 poor parishes all over the country, houses of Charity, such as the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa and Poor Clare, and charitable institutions like the Caritas Manila.
The Love-a-Parish Program began in the early ’90s with the thrust of really helping the poor in our society by building for them homes and giving them livelihood programs that would support their daily existence.
The generosity of mass goers has made the LAPP the highest-funded program in the chapel. To date, the present recipients of the LAPP (dioceses, parishes, and organizations country-wide) and their expressions of gratitude through “Thank You” letters and greetings are on display at the LAPP bulletin board at the chapel’s center bridge.
