Padre Pio Prayer Group

Padre Pio Prayer Group

The Padre Pio Prayer Group or PPPG was established on March 23, 2016 as a way of perpetuating the devotion to St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, the secondary patron of Greenbelt chapel, and one of the most popular saints in modern times.

As St. Padre Pio was known for his deep piety and love of prayer, the members of PPPG are encouraged to emulate the saint through frequent prayer and reception of the Eucharist, among other spiritual exercises. PPPG members assemble regularly on the 23rd of every month to celebrate the Holy Mass in the chapel and to get their assigned prayer petitions from the numerous prayer requests found in the petition box beside the image of St. Padre Pio and the confessional.
